“ Baby koalas are incredibly appealing with their big round eyes and furry little bodies. My aim with this drawing was to capture that essence of cuteness and innocence. I positioned this little guy clinging to the trunk of a Eucalyptus Gum which is their natural habitat, and had fun with designing the distinctive abstract patterns of the bark. I completed the artwork with a fringe of elegant gum leaves that are their staple diet.”
